AMBER TOWNSHIP — A motorist struck a deer on US 10-31 near Gordon Road Thursday at 8:07 p.m., and then two minutes later another vehicle struck the same deer, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

No (human) injuries were reported in either crash.

The following is other police activity Thursday, March 2, 2017:

– 10:40 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), rollover crash, no injuries, Hansen Road east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.

– 11:35 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 24-year-old Fountain man was arrested for unlawful license plate use and operating without insurance, US 10 and Budzynski Road, Branch Township.

– 4:17 p.m., (MCSO), warrant arrest at the sheriff’s office, City of Ludington. A 28-year-old Scottville man was arrested on a three-count probation violation warrant.

– 8 p.m., (MSP), a 47-year-old Fountain man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Benson Road and US 10, Branch Township.
