79th District Court sentencings, posted Nov. 22, 2017.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Bryan Scott Fenner, 26, of 4555 Ordway Rd., Eden Township, pleaded guilty November 7 to second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact panel; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $1,620 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.

-Erin Nicole Granlund, 19, no address listed, pleaded guilty November 7 to larceny over $200 but less than $1000 and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 150 days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $545 in fines/costs. Charges of larceny in a building and lying to a peace officer were dismissed.

-Brandon Paul Wheeler, Jr., 29, of 508 ½ E. Danaher St., Ludington, pleaded guilty November 7 to breaking and entering and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $665 in fines/costs. Charges of malicious destruction of property and transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle were dismissed.

-Jake Ryan Ring, 26, of 111 N. Rath Ave., Apt. B, Ludington, pleaded guilty November 7 to attempted assault/resisting/obstructing police and disorderly person disturbing the peace and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; must attend AA two times per week for one year; subject to random PBTs and drugs tests; and $660 in fines/costs. A charge of assault/resisting/obstructing police was dismissed.

-Michael Anthony Molina, 22, of 408 E. Ludington Ave., Apt. B, Ludington, pleaded guilty November 7 to operating a vehicle while impaired by a controlled substance and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must obtain substance abuse counseling; and $1,025 in fines/costs.

-Austin William Buchholz, 22, of 2716 E. Johnson Rd., Custer Township, pleaded guilty November 7 to failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $705 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. Charges of possession of marijuana, improper plates, and transporting an open intoxicant in a  motor vehicle were dismissed.

-Joshua Blake Bass, 33, of 1918 Greenwood St., Apt. 203, Thief River, Minnesota, pleaded guilty November 13 to improper transport of medical marijuana and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year and $525 in fines/costs.

-Anthony Kyle Biggs, Jr., 30, of 5911 Highway 9, Inman, South Carolina, pleaded guilty November 14 to disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 30 days discretionary jail for six months; six months of probation; and $285 in fines/costs.

-Christopher Alan Wild, 25, of 224 Dairy Ridge Rd., Spartanburg, South Carolina, pleaded guilty November 14 to disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 30 days discretionary jail for six months; six months of probation; and $285 in fines/costs.

-William James Billo, 32, of 3939 W. Deren Rd., Riverton Township, pleaded guilty November 16 to selling tobacco to a minor and was sentenced to pay $260 in fines/costs.

-Daniel Michael Fitch, 36, of 712 N. Emily St., Ludington, pleaded guilty November 20 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must not operate a vehicle until legally able to do so; 12 months of probation; and $335 in fines/costs.

-Kenyon Clark Thomas, Jr., 30, of 8366 N. Stephens Rd., Free Soil Township, pleaded guilty November 20 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must not operate a vehicle until legally able to do so; and $335 in fines/costs.

-Ryan Allen Lilje, 29, of 695 N. Benson Rd., Branch Township, pleaded guilty November 16 to possessing gun/bow during deer season without a license and was sentenced to pay $275 in fines/costs.

-Ryan Allen Tyndall, 31, of 2572 N. Larson Rd., Sheridan Township, pleaded guilty November 16 to excess bait – over legal limit and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.
