LUDINGTON— The trial of Sean Michael Philipps of Victory Township, accused of murdering his infant daughter, will move forward after the Michigan Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal by the prosecution asking 79th District Judge Pete Wadel be removed from the case. US 10 intersection construction begins next week.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced that road work will be taking place on US 10 beginning April 1 through Memorial Day weekend. Work will be done at the intersections of Nelson Road, Meyers Road and Brye Road and will include intersection road construction and pedestrian signal upgrades.
