LUDINGTON — A 37-year-old Branch man was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 8, by Mason County sheriff detectives and charged with criminal sexual conduct first degree along with CSC second degree. Glen Arthur Bentley II was arraigned in 79th District Court on the two charges that allege criminal sexual activity with a child 13 years of age or younger.

CSC first degree is a felony punishable by up to life in prison. CSC second degree is a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

Bond has been set for $50,000 cash/surety. Bentley has been released on bond from jail. A probable cause hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 23 at 3 p.m.
