SCOTTVILLE — Mason County Central ended its regular season Thursday with a win over Brethren. The Spartans defeated the Bobcats 46-31.
“We started out hot tonight and never looked back,” said MCC Coach Brent Lyon. “Senior night was a successful one. All five seniors started and played very well together; Jasmine Cooper, Ellen Norman, Jaycee Myer, Aubrey Chye and Jessica Petersen all played great and left everything they had on the floor one last home game.
“Sage Griswold was hot from the 3 point line and made six of them tonight. We won the rebounding and turnover battle tonight which really helped us. We have some momentum heading into March Madness and I know we are in a good place as a team and hungry to get to districts.
“I hope to see all our fans up in Maple City Glen Lake at 5:30 p.m. Monday night.”
