LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court:

Brown
– Richard Paul Brown, 35, pleaded guilty Aug. 19 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and fourth-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Oct. 14 to 20 months to 15 years in prison with credit for 191 days served in jail and $198 in fines and costs.

Mishler
– Stephen James Mishler, 35, pleaded guilty Aug. 19 to harboring felons and fourth-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Oct. 14 to three to 15 years in prison and $198 in fines and costs.

Tacktor-Collins
– Shawn Michael Tacktor-Collins, 38, pleaded guilty Aug. 19 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and was sentenced Oct. 14 to nine months in jail with credit for 174 days served; three years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. He also received a concurrent term of nine months in jail with credit for 260 days served for probation violation. Probation stems from 2022 convictions of methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic.

Hernandez
– Brittany Leigh Hernandez, 36, pleaded guilty May 6 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and bringing contraband into a jail and was sentenced Oct. 14 to five months in jail with credit for two days served; two years probation; and $726 in fines and costs. One count of analogues possession was dismissed.

Hargain
– Melissa Lee Hargain, 43, pleaded guilty Aug. 19 to larceny in a building and second-offense habitual offender and was sentenced Oct. 14 to six months in jail with credit for 10 days served; three years probation; $695.59 in restitution; and $728 in fines and costs.

Peterson
– Nicole Diane Peterson, 40, pleaded guilty April 30 to embezzlement $1,000-$20,000 and was sentenced Oct, 14 to 30 days in jail with credit for one day served; two years probation; $2,600.55 in restitution; and $658 in fines and costs.

Luzar
– Jennifer Louise Luzar, 41, pleaded guilty Aug. 19 to embezzlement $1,000-$20,000 and received a delayed sentence Oct. 14 of one day in jail with credit for one day served; six months probation; $3,633.68 in restitution; and $598 in fines and costs. All fines, costs and restitution were paid. A delayed sentence hearing is set for March 24, 2026.

Thompson
– Robert Andrew Thompson, 25, pleaded guilty Aug. 19 to methamphetamine/ecstasy possession and carrying a concealed weapon and was sentenced Oct. 14 to six months in jail with credit for six days served; three years probation; and $666 in fines and costs. One count of felony firearm was dismissed.
