House fire in Summit Township SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — Firefighters were dispatched to a house fire at 5766 S. Pere Marquette Highway early this morning. Riverton Fire Department, Pere Marquette Fire Department, and Pentwater Fire Department were called to the scene at 5:36 a.m. Assistance was then requested by Ludington Fire Department, Hamlin Fire Department, and Scottville Fire Department.
