Man, 26, arrested for 10th suspended license offense

CUSTER TOWNSHIP — A 26-year-old Stanton, Michigan man was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop at US 10 and Poplar Road Wednesday, March 20, shortly before 7 a.m. for his 10th driving while license suspended offense, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The man had nine previous convictions, Cole said.

  • 4:53 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Ludington rest area, Summit Township.
  • 5:08 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Victory Township.
  • 7:15 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Decker Road, Sherman Township.
  • 8:01 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 44-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving on an expired license following a traffic stop near the intersection of Ludington Avenue and Harrison Street, City of Ludington.
  • 12:13 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle, hit and run crash, no injury, US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 8:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Angling Road south of Beaune Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 9;09 p.m., (LPD), a 41-year-old Ludington woman was cited for driving while license suspended license following a traffic stop near Ludington Avenue and Jackson Road, City of Ludington.
