MANISTEE — The Mason County Central High School Concert Band participated at State Band Festival today in Manistee. Director Tom Thomas reported the band received a II rating, meaning above average. “They did great,” he said. The Mason County Central High School forensics team competed Saturday in Mattawan against some of the best Class A teams in the state. MCC took first place in small school size division.
