Lake effect snow advisory continues until tonight

A lake effect snow advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. tonight. Motorists should use extreme caution. Lake effect snow showers were expected to become steadier and spread inland overnight and continue throughout the day. An additional 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected.
