Manistee woman pleads to forging prescriptions.

MANISTEE — A 35-year-old Manistee woman recently pleaded guilty in 19th Circuit Court for one count of obtaining controlled substances by fraud. Chrystal Ann Halcome faces up to four years in prison and/or a $30,000 fine for allegedly passing forged prescriptions in Benzie, Manistee and Oceana counties.
