HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Limited tickets remain available for The Rotary Club of Ludington’s 26th Annual Holiday Auction and Gala, Wednesday, Dec. 3, starting at 6 p.m., at Lincoln Hills Golf Club.
The event features a live and silent auction of nearly 200 items and special opportunities such as a sled dog ride, dinner parties and more donated by businesses and Rotary supporters.
Proceeds benefit youth education programs in the community such as the STRIVE mentoring program at Ludington High School, Dictionary Days distribution to third grade students throughout Mason County, scholarships and other service projects of the club.
The silent auction portion of the event is open to all. Bidding opens online starting Nov. 21 here.
“Our December 3rd Holiday Auction event, held at Lincoln Hills, is shaping up to be a wonderful evening,” said Michelle King, who with Dale Horowski, co-chairs the event. “As in past years, tickets are selling quickly and the event will undoubtedly sell out. But supporters can participate from anywhere. Bidding on our silent action is entirely virtual, and the ‘back and forth’ online bidding competition is great fun.”
One only needs to go to the auction website to register to to bid on items from restaurant gift certificates to photography, golf packages – both local and at resorts such as Crystal Mountain and the Grand Hotel course on Mackinac Island — to events such as a 2026 Ball Drop package, professional services and much more.
Gala tickets at $50 each also may be purchased on the web site. Cash donations can be made on the site to support Rotary without bidding or attending. Gala attendees will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner, desserts and a cash bar. Special interest items will be auctioned live that night. Raffles for wine baskets and 50-50 drawings add to the fun.
“As in past years, our Rotary Club is incredibly grateful for the immense support we receive from our community,” King said. “We have close to 200 donated items from local businesses and individuals that we will include in our silent and live auctions. We live in such a generous, caring community.”
“Our Holiday Auction is truly a heartwarming tradition—an evening that brings our entire community together,” Debra Kinnaird, Rotary Club of Ludington president said. “It’s a joyful time where neighbors, friends, and families gather to celebrate the season and support the most important part of our future… our youth.”
