51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Nov. 3, 2022

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022 in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court. 

Herring

– Carl Lee Herring, 32: count 1, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer (one year in jail minimum with credit for 153 days served, fines and fees); count 2, trespassing (dismissed). See related story here.

Martin

Tyler Thomas Martin, 27: count 1, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, third offense (11 months jail minimum with credit for 17 days served, three years probation, fines and fees.

McWilliams

– Daniel Leigh McWilliams, 39: count 1, controlled substances – narcotic/cocaine/methamphetamine/ecstasy (two days jail with credit for two days served, one year probation). 

Peebles

– Lancelot Christopher Peebles, 29: counts 1 and 2, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer (214 days in jail with credit for 214 days served, 24 months probation, concurrent); operating a vehicle with a suspended, revoked or denied license (dismissed). 

Trolz

– Eric Trolz, 32: count 1, controlled substance delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine (dismissed); controlled substances possession of cocaine, heroin or another narcotic  (459 days in jail with credit for 459 days served, two years probation);  count 3, possession of a firearm by a felon (dismissed); counts 4, 5, 6, felony firearms (dismissed); count 7, controlled substance possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy (459 days in jail with credit for 459 days served, two years probation; concurrent). 

Wakelin

–  Devon J. Wakelin, 25: counts 1, 2, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer (one year jail with credit for four days served, three years probation). 

Samuels

– Nicholas Lee Samuels, 41: count 1, embezzlement, agent or trustee, $1,000 or more but less than $20,000 (22 days in jail with credit for 22 days served, 12 months probation).
