The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

Friday, Oct. 5, 2018:

– 5 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove and Schoenherr roads, Sherman Township.

– 8:30 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 north of Townline Road, Free Soil Township.

– 2:03 p.m., hit-and-run crash, no injury, US 10 west of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

– 2:55 p.m., two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.

– 6:50 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Hawley Road west of Scottville Road, Riverton Township.

– 11:23 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Marrison Road, Eden Township.

Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018:

– 8:46 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain and Anderson roads, Victory Township.

– 1:48 p.m., three-vehicle crash, no injury, Hawley Road east of Stiles Road, Riverton Township.

– 3:11 p.m., warrant arrest, Maggie Street, Branch Township. A 40-year-old Fountain man was arrested on two outstanding warrants – one warrant issued in Mason County for failure to appear on an original charge of operating while intoxicated and one warrant issued in Manistee County for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.

Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018:

– 7:35 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Meisenheimer Road overpass, Summit Township.

– 10:20 p.m., hit-and-run crash, no injury, 3900 block of North Lakeshore Drive, Hamlin Township.
