Sheriff’s Office searching for stolen SUV.

FREE SOIL TOWNSHIP — A dark blue 1998 Dodge Durango SUV was stolen Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 1, from the 10000 block of North Stephens Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Deputies received the complaint shortly after 5 p.m. The SUV bears a Michigan registration of 1GLY4, which is a veteran’s plate.

Other police activity Wednesday includes:

– 7:05 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’ Office), car/deer crash, no injuries, Dewey Road west of Sherman Road, Hamlin Township.

– 7:53 a.m., (MCSO), vehicle slide-off, no damage or no injuries, Fountain and Petersen roads, Victory Township.

– 4:07 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), missing person, 500 block of Gaylord Avenue, Ludington.

– 5:26 p.m., (LPD), disturbance, 700 block of East Tinkham Avenue, Ludington.

– 6:47 p.m., (LPD), disturbance, 300 block of East Melendy Street, Ludington.

– 8:20 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $39 in fuel stolen, Scottville EZ Mart, 400 block of East US 10, Custer Township.

– 11:38 p.m., (LPD), domestic violence, 800 block of Anderson Street, Ludington.
