LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

McClung

– Janice Lee McClung, 57, of 1416 Edgewood Dr., Holland, was arrested Feb. 16 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of fleeing and eluding and misdemeanors of operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and operating without insurance. Preliminary exam pre-conference: March 2 at 1 p.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety/10 percent. See related story here.

– Matt Edward Ahlgren, 27, of 159 S. Wildwood Run, Apt. 10, Amber Township, was arrested by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for felonious assault. Preliminary exam: March 2 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Corrie Lynn Cook, 38, of 711 N. Washington Ave., Ludington; Feb. 19; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: March 14 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Sean Russell Daugherty, 31, of 113 S. Courtland St., Hart; Feb. 19; MCSO; second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: March 14 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Mitchell Allen Staffen, 53, of 120 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington; Feb. 23; LPD; possession of marijuana. Pretrial: March 14 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Alexis Lee Taylor, 55, of 2559 N. Sherman Rd., Hamlin Township; Feb. 21; MCSO; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: March 14 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Kaitlin Marie Hammond, 22, of 976 E. Filburn Rd., Custer Township; Feb. 21; LPD; operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: March 14 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Nathin Scott Fox, 36, of 155 Wildwood Run, Amber Township; Feb. 23; MSP; possession of marijuana. Pretrial: March 14 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– James Dean Levine, 26, of 1490 Princeton Rd., Manistee; Feb. 23; MSP; possession of marijuana. Pretrial: March 14 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent.

– Christopher Joseph Sekenske, 20, of 2041 N. Jebavy Dr., Hamlin Township; Feb. 23; LPD; false prescription of a controlled substance. Pretrial: March 7 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

Sentencings

The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:

– John Gordon Roehrig, 59, of 6717 Virneta Dr., Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty Feb. 23 of operating while impaired and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; outpatient treatment; $870 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); and no alcohol/drugs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Jeffery Lawrence Kreiger, 51, of 504 Thomas St., Scottville, was found guilty Feb. 16 of trespassing and sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and $265 in fines and costs. Case will be closed upon payment of fines and costs.
