Scottville man arrested for heroin possession; multiple crashes over weekend.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 19-year-old Scottville man was arrested Friday, June 19, 2015, by Mason County Sheriff’s Office and charged with possession of heroin. The man was allegedly found in possession of 2 grams of heroin following a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 10 and Pere Marquette Highway.

1:51 a.m.: (MCSO), breaking and entering to a storage shed, 900 block of North Jebavy Dr., P.M. Twp.

3:28 a.m.: (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, U.S. 10-31 and Gordon Road, Amber Twp.

3:41 a.m.: (MCSO), two vehicle rear-end crash, no injuries, northbound U.S. 31 off ramp at eastbound U.S. 10, Amber Twp.

4:40 a.m.: (MCSO), two vehicle crash, no injuries, Masten and Kinney roads, Logan Twp.

Sunday, June 21, 2015:

1:48 a.m. (MCSO and Ludington Police Department), a 24-year-old Howard City man was arrested by LPD after MSCO deputy spotted the vehicle driving erratically south on James Street. The deputy, who was outside his vehicle on another matter, attempted to catch up with the vehicle however found it had crashed on Maritime Drive, near the carferry dock.  Driver and crash were turned over to LPD (no injuries).

2:44 a.m. (MCSO), a 28-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Nelson Road, P.M. Twp.

7:35 a.m., (MSP), car-deer crash, Fountain and Custer, Sherman Twp.

8:22 a.m.: (MSP, MCSO), motorcycle/deer crash, with injuries, Masten Road near Hawley Road, Logan Twp. See related story here.

11:46 a.m.: (MCS)), two vehicle crash, no injuries, P.M. Hwy. south of Sixth Street, P.M. Twp.

– 3:51 p.m., (MSP), suspicious situation, possible bullet hole in window, 100 block of W. Free Soil Rd., Grant Twp.

8:11 p.m., (MCSO), a 33-year-old Flint woman and a 39-year-old male passenger were both arrested following a traffic stop at U.S. 10 and Nelson Road, P.M. Township. The woman was arrested for driving while license suspended first offense and the passenger was arrested for possession of marijuana.

8:13 p.m.: (MCSO), 2000 block of North Lakeshore Dr., Hamlin Twp.

8:32 p.m.: (MCSO), a 29-year-old Grand Rapids woman was arrested and charged with OWI following a traffic stop at Bryant Road and Lakeshore Dr., City of Ludington.
