Lake Michigan Carferry cancelled today’s sailing due to high winds and seas. Wind gusts are forecasted to reach 50mph with waves reaching 13-17 ft. Passengers who were scheduled for today’s crossings were offered a 20% discount for sailing on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012.

This is the second time in two weeks the Badger’s sailing has been cancelled. Mason County Press reported exclusively last week that LMC is considering extending the 2012 sailing season due to freight traffic (see related story).
