Teenage girl allegedly had knife, marijuana at school.

SCOTTVILLE – A teenage girl was allegedly found in possession of a knife with a 5-inch blade and 3 grams of marijuana at Mason County Central High School Wednesday, Sept. 18, shortly after 10 a.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The case will be forwarded to juvenile court authorities, Cole said, because the suspect is a juvenile under the age of 17.

The knife was not brandished, and students were not in danger, he said. The knife and the marijuana were seized by deputies.
