The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Monday, Dec. 17, 2018:

– 12:25 a.m., (Michigan State Police), car/deer crash, Scottville and Wilson roads, Custer Township.

– 4:07 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.

– 5:37 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Scottville Road north of Hawley Road, Riverton Township.

– 6:58 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Free Soil Road and Tubbs Court, Free Soil Township.

– 7 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Fisher Road, Hamlin Township.

– 11:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Johnson Road, Amber Township.

Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018:

– 8:13 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road west of Inman Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 12:15 p.m,. (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.

– 12:32 p.m., (MCSO), identity theft, 4000 block of West Hawley Road, Summit Township. The victim reported he was notified of multiple out-of-state checking accounts which had been opened in his name.

– 1:32 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive and US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 5:03 p.m., (MSP), probation violation, 3000 block of Stiles Road, Amber Township. A warrant is being requested.

– 10:13 p.m., (MSP), fraud, under investigation, 2000 block of Conrad Road, Custer Township.
