Custer man arrested for driving with high BAC.

CUSTER – A 48-year-old Custer man was arrested for operating while intoxicated with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) following a traffic stop Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 3:14 p.m. on Custer Road south of First Street, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. The suspect’s BAC was .26, Cole said, which is more than three times the legal limit.

In a separate incident, a 30-year-old Manistee man was arrested for operating while under the influence of drugs following a traffic stop Tuesday at 5:07 p.m. at Jebavy Drive and Dewey Road in Hamlin Township, Cole said.

– 5:53 p.m., second-offense driving while license suspended ​(DWLS), Jebavy Drive and Dewey Road, Hamlin Township. A warrant is being sought for a 42-year-old Ludington man following a traffic stop.
