Pedestrians hit in Taco Bell parking lot.

AMBER TOWNSHIP – A 75-year-old Manton woman was airlifted to an area hospital for serious injuries after she and a 46-year-old Manton woman were hit by a 2003 Dodge van in the Taco Bell parking lot on West US 10 Friday, Sept. 21, at 12:36 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
Both woman were injured as they walked from behind a parked vehicle into the path of the van driven by a 62-year-old Ludington man, Cole said.

– 7:12 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s. Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway near Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
– 1:04 p.m., (Michigan State Police), theft of fishing equipment, Tuttle and East Kinney roads, Eden Township.
– 3:18 p.m., (MCSO), a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested after he was found to have been consuming alcohol, which is a violation of his bond condition, 5600 block of West Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 3:50 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Kinney Road east of Walhalla Road, Logan Township.
– 4:43 p.m., (MCSO), retail fraud, 5600 block of West US 10 — Wesco East Gate, Pere Marquette Township. A warrant is being requested for a 35-year-old Ludington woman.
11:58 p.m., (MCSO), a 17-year-old Fountain man was arrested following a traffic stop for possession of marijuana and probation violation, Jebavy Drive and Jagger Road, Hamlin Township.
