Scottville man seriously injured following moped crash.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 55-year-old Scottville man was seriously injured Saturday after he apparently lost control of his moped-style bike Saturday. According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Curtis Spuller was traveling eastbound on Conrad Road west of Meyers Road when he lost control of the bike and crashed it.

The crash occurred about 1:50 p.m.

Spuller was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital then by helicopter to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Life EMS, and Pere Marquette Township Fire Department.
