Motorcycle crash, car/deer crash cause injuries.

SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — A 51-year-old Ludington man was injured after he lost control of his 2007 Victory motorcycle after rounding a curve in the road Sunday, June 10, at 12:30 a.m. on Sunset Lane west of Sunset Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
In a separate crash Tuesday, June 12, at 3:43 p.m., a 31-year-old Free Soil woman was injured after a deer ran into the driver’s side of the vehicle she was driving, partially entering the vehicle and striking her in the head. The crash occurred on Pere Marquette Highway south of Chauvez Road in Pere Marquette Township. Life EMS treated the woman for non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff said.

– 2:44 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Iris Road, Pere Marquette Township. A 29-year-old Pentwater man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated and driving while license suspended following the crash.

– 10:36 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Stephens Road, Custer Township.

– 11:40 p.m., two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of King Road, Pere Marquette Township.
