Scottville woman arrested for car theft.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 19-year-old Scottville woman was arrested for a felony of unlawful driving away of an automobile (car theft) and a misdemeanor of no operator’s license Saturday, May 19, shortly after 3:30 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot on US 10.
The suspect was found in possession of a Chevy Avalanche that had been reported stolen earlier, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
Friday, May 18, 2018:
– 8:53 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office) two-vehicle rear-end crash, minor injury, US10 and Myers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 11:30 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 28-year-old Ludington man was arrested driving an unregistered vehicle, US 10 and Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
– 12:40 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Summit Township.
– 7:15 p.m., (MSP), larceny of a license plate, City of Ludington.
– 8:31 p.m., (MCSO), warrant arrest, 5600 block of West Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township. A 26 year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear issued by the Ludington Police Department.
– 8:57 p.m., (MSP), larceny of camping gear from an RV, Tallman Lake Road near Butters Avenue, Branch Township.
Saturday, May 19, 2018:
– 12:30 a.m., (MSP), a 47-year-old Branch man was arrested for domestic violence and a 37-year-old Fountain woman was arrested for probation violation, Masten Road, Logan Township.
– 9:45 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Hawley Road east of Stiles Road, Riverton Township.
– 8:54 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road south of Countyline Road, Grant Township.
– 2:35 p.m., (MSP), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10, Amber Township.
– 9:16 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property to a mailbox, South Lenz Road, Pere Marquette Township. A home owner reported a vehicle had struck a mailbox.
– 9:48 p.m., (MCSO), operating while intoxicated (OWI) arrest, US 10 and Stephens Road, Custer Township. A 41-year-old North Muskegon man was arrested following a one-vehicle crash. No injuries occurred.
Sunday, May 20, 2018:
– 1:33 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road north of Hoague Road, Grant Township.
– 9:20 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 and Dennis Road, Amber Township.
