Crashes, OWI arrests top police activity.

The following is recent police activity in Mason County:
Friday, May 11, 2018:
– 3:30 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Dowland and Washington streets, City of Ludington.
Saturday, May 12, 2018:
– 2:55 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Landon Road, Branch Township.
– 5:57 a.m., (MCSO) one-vehicle crash causing injury, Sugar Grove Road west of Campbell Road. Sheridan Township. A 32-year-old Branch man received minor injuries after the vehicle he was operating failed to make a curve and ran into the ditch. The case remains under investigation pending toxicology results.
– 7:15 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, M116, Hamlin Township.
– 8:03 p.m., (MCSO), a 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop for operating while intoxicated (OWI) – drugs, Fountain and Victory roads, Victory Township.
– 10:50 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle rollover crash, no injury, Dennis Road near Johnson Road, Amber Township. An 18-year-old Ludington man was cited for reckless driving as a result.
Sunday, May 13, 2018:
– 2:13 a.m., (MCSO), a 37-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for OWI, and her passenger, a 31-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a two-count absconder warrant issued in Mason County, US 10 west of Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
– 2:55 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 32-year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving without a license, Pere Marquette Highway near US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
– 5:26 a.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, 4800 block of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
– 12:05 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property – vehicle windshield, 1500 block of Lendale Road, Pere Marquette Township.
– 3:10 p.m., (MSP), attempted breaking and entering, Butters Road, Branch Township.
– 6:43 p.m., (MCSO), a 30-year-old Branch man was arrested for second-offense OWI following a traffic stop, Benson and Hansen roads, Branch Township.
