Muskegon man arrested for fifth-offense DWLS.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — A 54-year-old Muskegon man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies for fifth-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 8:08 p.m. at US 31 and LaSalle Raod, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The following is other recent police activity in Mason County:
Monday, Jan. 8, 2017:
– 12:23 a.m., (MCSO), vehicle slide-off — no damage or injuries, Sugar Grove and Darr roads, Sherman Township.
– 11:33 a.m., (MCSO), larceny, 100 block of West Millerton Road, Victory Township. The victim reported that cash was taken from a checking account.
– 3:40 p.m., (Michigan State Police), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Lincoln and Decker roads, Hamlin Township.
– 6 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Drive and M 116, Hamlin Township.
Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018:
– 8:16 a.m,. (MCSO), three-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
– 11 a.m., (MSP), hit-and-run crash, Fourth and Madison streets, City of Ludington.
– 1:04 p.m., (MCSO), a 26-year-old Fountain man was arrested for second-offense DWLS following a traffic stop, Rasmussen Road east of Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
– 2:33 p.m., (MSP), a 16-year-old Scottville girl was apprehended after running away from home, 400 block of Elm Street, City of Scottville.
– 4:11 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), malicious destruction of property, 100 block of South Robert Street, City of Ludington.
– 7:11 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Meyers Road south of Sixth Street, Amber Township.
– 9:02 p.m., (LPD), wires down, East Pine and South Jackson streets, City of Ludington.
