Police busy with crashes over the weekend.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to several vehicle crashes over the weekend, including a two-vehicle head-on crash Sunday, Jan. 7, at 6:59 a.m. at US 31 and LaSalle Road that resulted in injuries, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The following is other police activity over the weekend in Mason County:

Friday, Jan. 5, 2018:

– 9:54 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township.

– 3:14 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive and Hazelwood Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 3:36 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive and Hazelwood Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 3:41 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Scottville Road near Bradshaw Road, Custer Township.

– 3:41 p.m,. (MCSO), one-vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, Scottville Road near Bradshaw Road, Custer Township.

– 6:48 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle rollover crash, no injuries, Dewey Road east of Lincoln Road, Hamlin Township.

– 7:56 p.m. (MCSO), larceny of a trailer and tools, Lincoln and Decker roads, Hamlin Township.

– 8:10 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Dewey Road south of Mavis Road, Hamlin Township.

– 10:42 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), bomb threat test, Beacon Home group home, 900 block of Gaylord Street, City of Ludington. The director of the company called in a bomb threat as a test, but didn’t notify authorities prior, said Ludington Police Chief Mark Barnett.

Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018:

– Noon, (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Pere Marquette Highway north of First Street, Pere Marquette Township.

– 12:05 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle head-on crash, with injuries, Pere Marquette Highway north of First Street, Pere Marquette Township. A southbound vehicle lost control on the icy overpass, slid left of center and collided with a northbound vehicle. Both drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, said Sheriff Cole.

– 3:41 p.m., (MCSO), vehicle slide off — no damage or injuries, US 10 near Stiles Road, Amber Township.

– 4:17 p.m,. (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, Benson Road south of Sugar Grove Road, Sheridan Township.

– 8:03 p.m., (LPD), two-vehicle crash, 800 block of South Madison, City of Ludington. A passenger was transported to Spectrum Ludington Hospital for minor injuries, said Chief Barnett.

– 8:15 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injuries, Angling and Meyers roads, Victory Township.

– 10:17 p.m., (MCSO), vehicle slide off —no damage or injuries, Lakeshore Drive and Iris Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018:

– 7:20 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 23-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for a hit-and-run crash, Budde Road, Free Soil Township.
