Suspects in grocery store, funeral home break-ins among arraignments.

LUDINGTON — Shanin Nicholas Waite and Ryan Allen Stever, the two suspects allegedly involved in the recent break-ins of the Lower Hamlin Grocery Store and King Funeral home, were arraigned in 79th District Court.

Waite, 24, no address listed, was arraigned on felony charges of breaking and entering a building, attempted second-degree home invasion, breaking and entering a building with intent, unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle, and fourth-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: November 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $50,000 cash/surety.

Stever, 23, 5634 W. Johnson Rd., Pere Marquette Township, was arrested October 19 by MCSO on a felony charge of breaking and entering a building and second-offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: November 9 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $35,000 cash/surety.
