RIVERTON TOWNSHIP — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police is investigating the larceny of a cultipacker, which is a large piece of farm machinery, from Hogenson and Anthony roads reported Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 a.m.

  • 11 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Masten and Kinney roads, Logan Township.
  • 12:25 p.m., (MSP), one-car crash, no injuries, Stiles and Jagger roads, Amber Township.

  • 6:40 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle head-on crash with serious injuries, Lincoln Road south of Sugar Grove Road, Hamlin Township. Related story here

  • 3:31 p.m., (MCSO), a 39 year-old Ludington man was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS); on an outstanding warrant; and for marijuana possession following a traffic stop, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 3:49 p.m., (LPD), domestic assault, 400 block of North Emily Street, City of Ludington.
  • 4:55 p.m., (LPD), breaking and entering, 1000 block of North Kenowa Drive, City of Ludington.
  • 6 p.m., (MCSO), four vehicle break-ins, Juniper Hills area, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:23 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 south of Free Soil Road, Grant Township.
