Help wanted: PM Charter Township Utilities & Public Works

Employment: Utilities and Public Works Operator. 

Pere Marquette Charter Township is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of full time Utilities & Public Works Operator. This individual will assist in the maintenance, operations, construction, installation and repair of all Township owned & operated municipal drinking water & wastewater distribution systems and perform moderately skilled work on Township roads, parking lots, right of ways, and general Township properties.  Must have a high school diploma (or the equivalent) and a valid driver’s license. This is an hourly, full-time position. Hourly rate is $14 – $18/hour, based on qualifications and experience.
