 One on One Paraprofessional-Elementary Level  Assigned to Special Education Students 

Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience in working with High Needs Special Education students recommended

Ability to deal calmly & effectively with high needs students

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification recommended

General knowledge and experience in working with parents of Special Education students

Dependability and cleanliness

Organizational skills

Willingness to follow instructions 

Requirements: Work Keys, CDA, or Associates Degree 

Criminal Records Check: By law, the selected applicant is required to complete a criminal records check.  This will be at the prospective employee’s expense and kept on file at the Central Business Office. 

Location:  Spitler Elementary 

Estimated Starting Date: As soon as possible

Reports to: Amy Taranko, Principal 

Salary: Salary as negotiated with the Hart Board of Education
