• Applicants must be licensed/licensable by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards.
• Competitive wages and benefit package, including defined benefit pension (at age 50 with 25 years of service).
• Lateral Entry of police officers with a minimum of 2 years continuous full-time MCOLES certified officer experience starting pay at two-year pay step.
• Lateral Entry of police officers with a minimum of 5 years continuous full-time MCOLES certified officer experience starting pay at three year pay step. Residency in accordance with current applicable State Law).
