Employment Opportunity: Head Start Lead Teacher

 Qualifications:

•  Have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education
•  or Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) with 490 hours of experience
•  Experience working with preschool aged children
•  Knowledge of Head Start Program Regulations preferred
•  Knowledge of Michigan Child Care Licensing Rules
•  Bilingual helpful, but not required
•  Ability to obtain Registry Clearance for Child Abuse/Neglect and medical  clearance

Criminal Records Check: By law, the selected applicant is required to  complete a criminal records check. This will be at the prospective employee’s expense and kept on file at the Central Business Office.

Location: Diman-Wolf ECC

Estimated Starting Date:  ASAP

Reports to: Program Coordinator

Salary:  Commensurate with experience
