Employment Opportunity: District Translator, Hart Public Schools.

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (6.5 hrs. per day – half hour unpaid lunch)

Qualifications:  Candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English and Spanish
• Must work independently – a self-starter, able to meet deadlines
• Must have ethical standards, including maintaining confidentiality
• Must have experience using Google Drive
• Prefer experience in providing translation services especially in a school setting

Criminal Records Check:  By law, the selected applicant is required to complete a criminal records check.  This will be at the prospective employee’s expense and kept on file at the Central Business Office.

Responsibilities

Translate written documents, parent meetings, phone calls, etc. in English and Spanish

Location:  District-wide

Estimated Starting Date:  September 2021

Reports to:  SYM Director

Salary:  $15.47
