Position Summary

Responsible for the daily accounting and human resources needs of the company. These include, but are not limited to, the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, financial analysis, month and year end close, reconciling bank accounts, general ledger, preparing annual insurance renewals and audits, and ensure accounting processes are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP); oversight and implementation of all employee benefits, onboarding, and record keeping. Duties also include providing oversight for payroll, accounts payable/receivable. Other tasks will be assigned as needed and appropriate.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Two (2) plus years of experience in a finance or accounting role. Proficiency in MS Office, Quickbooks or other accounting software. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Experience in problem-solving and ability to effectively present information to senior management team members. Actively participates in the team and can provide feedback and solutions; listens & responds constructively to others’ concerns. Ability to work well cross-functionally and with all levels of the company. Consistently demonstrates the company’s values and mission. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; attention to detail is essential. Requires flexibility and ability to prioritize workload effectively. Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member in a high-paced office environment.
