Change Michigan’s Deer Cull Law

Change Michigan’s Deer Cull Law

The NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT is supposed to protect you from being accidentally shot. (Act 451 of 1994 – (7) An individual shall not hunt with a firearm within 150 yards of an occupied building, dwelling, house, residence, or cabin, or any barn or other building used in connection with a farm operation, without obtaining the written permission of the owner, renter, or occupant of the property”.)

It does not protect you because the DNR, its agents and subcontractors do not obey the law. Tell Senator Jon Bumstead senjbumstead@senate.michigan.gov and Representative Curt VanderWall CurtisVanderWall@house.mi.gov to change this.
