Fire department quickly extinguishes pole barn fire.

LUDINGTON — Ludington Fire Department was called to a pole barn fire at the Stanley Luskin residence, 703 E. Ludington police officer recognized for duty, promoted

LUDINGTON — During Monday’s City Council meeting, Ludington Police Chief Mark Barnett announced the promotion of Steve Wietrzywoski to the rank of sergeant. During the meeting, Wietrzywoski also received recognition from Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole for his work on the county’s special emergency response team (SERT). Wietrzywoski served over 14 years on the team and recently stepped down.
