Community Church awards scholarships. LUDINGTON – Community Church of Ludington has recently awarded 12 scholarships. Recipients included: Brandy Thomas, Erin Thomsen, Jenna Knizacky, Evan Smith, Alec Johnson, Makenzie Condit, Jared Knizacky, Gabe Liebetreu, Alexandra Nellis, Caleb Eastway, Spencer Knizacky, Harley Smakal. Breakwater partially closed. LUDINGTON — The Ludington Police Department has announced that it has partially closure the North Breakwater from the bend to the lighthouse, effective at 1:30 p.m. today. The closure was made due to water level, wind and wave conditions. It will be re-opened when conditions subside.
