LUDINGTON — Crafters are invited to the Ludington Library to create photo holders on Tuesday, June 4 at 6 p.m. The activity is for adults only and there is a limit of 20 participants. Supplies are provided at no charge, but donations are appreciated.
Shown is the Ludington Petunia Parade committee. They include Donna Brown, chairperson; Tom and Bettye Tyron, Barb Sitler, Cathy Webster, Kathy Radtke, Deb Gundersen, Carol Pehrson and Suzanne Townsend. The petunias along Ludington Avenue and near the Ludington Municipal Marina were planted by volunteers last weekend. Weeding dates are June 1, June 22, July 27 and Aug. 24.
A forensic anthropologist has identified one of the 12 bones found Friday in Riverton Township as being part of a human skull. Mason County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy confirmed this morning that the anthropologist, through a photograph, made the confirmation of the fragment. SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Farmers’ Market and the Scottville Clown Band Shell weekly concert series both begin today. The market is open from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the west parking lot.
