Corrections officer injured during jail assault

LUDINGTON — Mason County Sheriff’s Sgt. Eric Soneral was injured during an assault Wednesday morning at the Mason County Jail. Soneral, a corrections officer, was taken to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital where he was treated and released for a wrist injury.
