Scottville police warn detour motorists to obey traffic laws. SCOTTVILLE — The US 31 detour through Scottville began today as Michigan Department of Transportation crews begin resurfacing the bypass. Scottville Police Chief Matt Murphy is advising travelers to obey the speed limits in town. “We aren’t issuing warnings,” Murphy said. “We are ticketing people who violate the city’s traffic laws.”…
