LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
Wicks
-Katie Marie Wicks, 34; third-degree child abuse and assault with a dangerous weapon; arrested May 16 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned June 19; preliminary hearing: July 9; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Newman
-Gavin David Newman, 25; delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance — narcotics/cocaine; arrested June 20 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned June 22; preliminary hearing: July 9; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
Misdemeanors
-Blake Edward Somsel, 19; failure to maintain car insurance; charged May 19 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 19; pretrial: July 7; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Jesus Maria Chavez, 25; assault and battery; arrested June 13 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 19; pretrial: July 7; bail: $250 cash.
-Madison Emma Mackenzie, 18; domestic violence; arrested June 24 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned June 25; pretrial: July 28; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Regan Rees, 61; second-offense driving while license suspended; arrested June 23 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 25; pretrial: July 28; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Jessica Sue Camargo, 37; driving while license expired; charged May 31 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned June 19; pleaded guilty.
-Jon Nathan Pierce, 44; leaving the scene of a fire before extinguishing/unattended; charged June 2 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned June 19; pretrial: July 7; bail: personal recognizance.
-Blake Edward Somsel, 19; improper license plates and operating without car insurance; charged May 30 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 19; pretrial: July 7; bail: personal recognizance.
