The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Wednesday, June 18, 2025:

  • 7:43 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 8:19 a.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Ludington man turned himself in at the Mason County Jail on an outstanding Mason County embezzlement warrant, City of Ludington.
  • 8:32 a.m., (MCSO), a 38-year-old Alto, Michigan man was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 12:01 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Ludington woman turned herself in at the Mason County Jail on an outstanding Mason County probation violation warrant, City of Ludington.
  • 12:57 p.m., larceny of a wallet from a vehicle, 1100 block of South Pere Marquette Hughway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 1:59 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Ludington woman turned herself in at the Mason County Jail on an outstanding Mason County failure to appear warrant, City of Ludington.
  • 3:01 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 4:27 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 19-year-old Ottawa Lake man was cited for driving while unlicensed following a traffic stop near Madison and Foster streets, City of Ludington. 
  • 8:25 p.m, (LPD), a 42-year-old Scottville man was arrested for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop on Sixth Street near Pere Marquette Highway, City of Ludington.
  • 9:27 p.m., (LPD), a 46-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a warrant and resisting arrest in the 400 block of Fourth Street, City of Ludington. The warrant was for failure to appear in Mason County’s 79th District Court. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 10:59 p.m., (LPD), a 49-year-old Irons, Michigan man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County probation violation warrant, US 10 and Tyndall Road, Branch Township.

Thursday, June 19, 2025:

  • 3:45 a.m., (LPD), a 19-year-old Ludington man was cited for a camping violation in the 200 block of East Melendy Street, City of Ludington.
