Obituary: Fay Laguire, 67, of Ludington.

Fay Dean Laguire, 67, of Ludington passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021. 

Fay was born on July 26, 1954, to Bernard and Marjorie Laguire in Manistee. 

He graduated from Manistee High School with the class of 1972. Afterwards, he went on to Ferris State College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business. 

He married Terri Marquand on April 30, 1977, in Manistee. 

Fay worked for Thorn Apple Valley in Grand Rapids as a quality control specialist.  He went on to open R Captive Reef Pet Store with his wife and son, Brian, in Ludington. 

Fay enjoyed walking the dogs, playing golf, and was known to be an avid Club Keno player. 

Fay is survived by his wife Terri Laguire; their son Brian Laguire of Ludington; his brother Larry (Judy) Laguire of Montegue; his beloved dog, Odie and his grand dog Baxter, along with several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Marjorie Laguire. 

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. Family requests casual attire because that’s what Fay would have wanted.

Memorial contributions in Fay’s memory may be directed to the Mason County Animal Shelter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington.
