FREMONT — Smith and Eddy Insurance was recently designated a “Best of the Best” agency by Fremont Insurance for 2020. Smith and Eddy, which has offices in Scottville, Ludington and Manistee, is one of five agencies, in the top three percent of the company’s agency force, to earn this distinction. The agency’s results on a number of measures, were the best out of 195 agencies.

Smith & Eddy first had to earn 5 Star status for growing at least 9% each year for the past two years, and being profitable on a one, three, and five year basis. Only the top 14% of agencies representing Fremont qualified for 5 Star Status. 

The agency then earned Preferred Agency status for consistent growth, professionalism, customer satisfaction, community involvement and above-average profitability over 10 years. 

To be “Best of the Best” Smith and Eddy had to be in of the top five Preferred agencies for growth in 2019 to be in the elite group.
