The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Monday, Jan. 6, 2020:

– 5:36 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), two-vehicle crash, minor injury, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township.

– 6:26 p.m., (MCSO), a 28-year-old Ludington man was arrested for probation violation following a 911 call reporting an intoxicated person at the residence, 5600 block of West Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township. The suspect was found to be intoxicated and on probation upon arrival of patrols.

Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020:

– 9:30 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 26-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for operating without insurance, East Dowland and South Delia streets, City of Ludington.

– 10:07 a.m., (LPD), a 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested for a failure to appear warrant from Ottawa County, East Dowland and South Delia streets, City of Ludington.

– 12:06 p.m., (LPD), a 35-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for operating without insurance, South Sherman and Sixth streets, City of Ludington.

– 1:11 p.m., (MCSO), a 39-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for retail fraud and an outstanding failure to appear warrant out of Muskegon County following an investigation by MCSO and Walmart Loss Prevention, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 3:14 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $24.69 in fuel stolen, Airport Shell, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 6:40 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Darr Road, Custer Township.
