LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Carrie Ann Carr, 38, of 115 W. Second St., Scottville, pleaded no contest Apr. 17 to larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; $62.50 in restitution; and $595 in fines/costs.

-Kalisha Jonell Fisher, 25, of 5534 W. King Dr., Pere Marquette Township, pleaded guilty Apr. 16 to third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for two years; no drugs/alcohol; no marijuana or controlled substances without a prescription; must have a substance abuse evaluation; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must continue current counseling; $116.64 in restitution; and $895 in fines/costs.

-Heather Marie Vinton, 43, of 6652 Gibson Rd., Branch Township, pleaded guilty Apr. 16 to joyriding – unlawful use and was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for 20 days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines/costs. A charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle was dropped.

-Clayton Kenneth James Clark, 46, of 206 ½ E. Danaher St., Apt. 5, Ludington, pleaded no contest Apr. 16 to third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol; no marijuana or controlled substances without a prescription; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; $20.26 in restitution; and $895 in fines/costs.

-Kathryn Ann Smith, 27, of 609 N. Harrison St., Ludington, pleaded no contest Apr. 16 to malicious destruction of a building and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; $114.36 in restitution; and $845 in fines/costs. A charge of attempted breaking and entering was dismissed.

-Raquel Angela Lopez, 27, of 179 N. Jebavy Dr., Ludington, pleaded guilty Apr. 15 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation; and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State.

Dismissals

-Carol Ann Wilson, 78, of 5215 W. Fox Rd., Mears, had a charge of moving violation causing serious impairment of bodily function dismissed without prejudice on Apr. 11 by the prosecutor. According to court records, “A civil infraction has been issued against the defendant arising out of this incident pursuant to a negotiated disposition and she has pled reasonable to same.”

-Rayawn Daivan Robertson, 18, of 506 E. Melendy St., Apt. 1, Ludington, had a charge of third degree arson dismissed on Apr. 9 after entering into a prosecutor’s deferment agreement.

-Carrie Maureen Rymiszewski, 30, of 7167 Marshwood Dr. SW, Apt. 3B, Byron Center, had a charge of false pretenses between $199-$999 dismissed without prejudice on Apr. 16 per a prosecutor’s deferment agreement.

-Darrell Eugene Jolly, 56, of 3720 First St., Custer, had a charge of operating without security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Apr. 9 after presenting proof of insurance to the prosecutor.
