Public hearing on proposed 2027 budget
The Mason County Rural Fire Authority Board of Directors will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, at the Custer Fire Station, 2549 E. U.S. 10, Custer.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider the authority’s proposed 2027 budget. The board may not adopt the proposed budget until after the public hearing.
A copy of the proposed 2027 budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, is available for public inspection during normal business hours at Cameron Accounting, 115 S. Main St., Scottville.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
This notice is given by order of the Mason County Rural Fire Authority Board of Directors.
