Several US 10 crashes over the weekend

The following is Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity over the weekend:

Friday, Sept. 11, 2026:

• 5:30 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Schoenherr Road north of Hansen Road, Branch Township.
• 1:56 p.m., two-vehicle, head-on crash, US 10 and Walhalla Road, Branch Township. A 66-year-old Branch man was treated at Corewell Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
• 3:16 p.m., three-vehicle crash, no injury, Main Street and US 10, Village of Custer.
• 4:28 p.m., one-vehicle crash, US 10 west of Quarterline Road, Amber Township. A 69-year-old Custer man received non-life-threatening injuries after he reportedly suffered a medical emergency; crossed all five lanes of US 10; and struck a tree.
• 4:31 p.m., a 32-year-old Fountain man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County failure to appear warrant, Indian Bridge, Custer Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 9:32 p.m., alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
• 11:04 p.m., a 61-year-old Scottville man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated after he reportedly drove his vehicle into the ditch, US 31 and Johnson Road, City of Scottville. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026:

• 8:38 a.m., gas drive-off, $60.13 in fuel was stolen, Scottville EZ Mart,City of Scottville.
• 12:06 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 4:02 p.m., three-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
